With critical parts, such as gears for case hardening, OR Direct Hardening parts, the individual parts within the work load, spaced to allow the Atmosphere to penetrate the load during processing and also for the oil to circulate throughout the load during quenching. Post HT loads pushed carefully on conveyor.
